Image Creation

With the help of ChatGPT, I created this image. Using AI to create an image is actually a lot harder than people imagine - basically, you have to try and paint an image using words. It can take upwards of two hours, and many many failed attempts to produce an image like this.

This image it totally unique to my bag - even I can't reproduce it exactly as every time you ask for a change, you will get a completely different image. AI doesn't understand what it has done, so cannot take an image it has created and reproduce it exactly. For example, if I ask for the bear to be made smaller, and centered, the entire picture will change, including the facial expression of the bear.

Planning the Bag

Once I've decided on the front panel, I then need to plan the rest of the bag so that it all co-ordinates. For this bag, I chose top quality Mora faux leather to make the bag vegan friendly. The color is sage green.

The lining we printed ourselves, selecting a shade of green from the picture panel and then using a darker green to imprint several Animals Asia hash tags over it.

Here you can also see that each part of the bag needs to be stabilized with different materials: a woven interfacing for the lining, a stiffer interfacing for the bear panel so it matches the weight of the faux leather when sewn together. A special interfacing that only requires 6 seconds at a low temperature to stabilize the faux leather, which cannot be subjected to high temperatures. And, when all the parts have had stabilizer applied, foam is applied to give the finished bag that soft, lux feeling.

So here you can see how expensive it is to make a bag - never mind the hardware and the adjustable strap.

Pockets!

Although I used the same pattern as the Daisy Bear, here I kept the zipped pocket on the front to give the bag a different look. As before, this bag features the very popular paw-inside-a-heart zip pulls.

The interior has a zipped pocket with gold water proof canvas, set against our bespoke AA hash tags lining fabric.

Putting it all together.

Here the bag is being put together ready to be posted to the auction winner.

A branded dust bag is included, and here I've included a free gift as it was Christmas time. The auction winner has blond hair, and she supports a Sun Bear, so I asked ChatGPT to create a Christmas image showing a blond pixie with her sun bear pal.
